WIDER staff had little time to celebrate the launch of “Genesi” last month since her place in the main yard was quickly taken up by project “Cecilia”. With her hull and superstructure now completed, she was expertly transported to the main WIDER Superyachts facility in Ancona where she will remain until her launch in Q4 of 2016. Inside this modern shipyard, workers were able to benefit from the facility’s additional height to unite the sun deck to the upper deck, finally giving visitors an idea of the vessel’s elegant profile.
Conceived to accommodate a personal submarine as well as a WIDER 32 tender the WIDER 165 follows a distinctive styling from the drawing board of Fulvio De Simoni and, like the WIDER 150, benefits from a diesel electric power system that grants remarkable range combined with a significant reduction in sound and vibration. In addition to her sizeable indoor/outdoor swimming pool and transom spa, she will also feature a generous seating area on the bow, complete with a spacious Jacuzzi tub overlooking the flush fore deck. An elegant balcony from the master stateroom allows the owner to enjoy his surroundings in a private and secluded ambience, and the WIDER beach area that has made the shipyard so well-known will provide guests with hours of entertainment as they relax and unwind just inches from both a pool and the ocean.
The Wider 150 just went under sea trial. The craftsman are putting the final touches to the interior so she can be presented to potential owner in the following months.
