Abeking & Rasmussen is no foreign yard when it comes to groundbreaking superyachts. They recently introduced the absolutely fantastic CloudBreak and the beautiful new 74m Elandess. This time Abeking and Rasmussen is going to mark yachting history with a superyacht that not only revolutionise modern design but also makes us reconsider the use of glass. The reversed bow 80m Excellence superyacht has just been unveiled and is now out of the shed at the yard. Built for the experienced Yachtsmen Herbert Chambers, owner of about 60 car dealerships in the United States, she will cruise the Mediterranean this summer.
The yacht comes with a GT of over 2000 making her one of the highest volume Abeking ever launched and a massive 400gt more than his previous yacht, now known as Arience. Known as Project 6505, designed by Winch Design, both interior and exterior, the yacht was first introduced as concept Intensity. Listed for sale with Y.CO the concept seem to have inspired the owner of the new Excellence Superyacht as she is now entering her final stage of delivery.
