The sleek Cygnus Montanus heads out for sea trials

Signed in September 2014, Cygnus Montanus (Hull 1012) is a a 33.5m performance ocean cruising sloop. Designed by Frers Naval Architecture and with an interior by Adam Lay Studio, this will be a repeat collaboration between the Yachting Developments and these two talented designers.

Cygnus Montanus was built for European owners stepping up in size. The owner and family are experienced, hands on sailors and a key part of the design brief was for a yacht that can be easily handled by a small crew. Built in composite, the yacht will feature a lifting keel. Work is progressing well and the yacht will deliver to her new owners in early 2016.
