A first look at Aviva, the new 98m Abeking & Rasmussen

The amazing new Aviva by Abeking & Rasmussen creation has just been entirely revealed to the public. The launch of such a yacht was a complicated operation, via a sophisticated launching system. The yacht was moved for the shed to an hydraulic pontoon, especially delivered from Norway. The yacht is said to be closer to a home than to a superyacht, built for an owner that spends most of his time on-board. ONe of ther most impressive feature will be the interior padel tennis court measuring 20 x 10 x 6 meters.

The yacht is based on a highly sophisticated hull, sturdy and curvaceous reducing the drag by 20%. She can reach a maximum speed  of 20 knots with less power than a similar yacht. Aviva is also powered by an electric engine, that allows her to run at 11 knots without the use of the main engine. The yacht cruise in silence on environmental friendly power.
